Thursday, June 17th at 5:30pm at River Forks Park is our annual year end celebration. Bring potluck food and drink and the whole family. There will be trophies, awards, and everyone gets a dvd of the year's highlights.

Woo Hoo!

What a fun win! Our last regular game of the year and we went out in style. Ashley got the game ball for making sure we got to play, AND she did very well for the other team. She hit deep, fielded and backed up. She even got to play Shortstop!

Our girls mixed it up with Jenna on 2nd, Skippy on Short, K on 3rd, and Alyssa on 1st! What a thrill!

Lots of mistakes by girls and coach, but we learned alot! Thanks for coming out on a sunday and working so hard! See you tomorrow at 4:45. We are home, so if you can come early and help set up field, I would appreciate it!

What a night! Another hard fought victory. I am so proud of our girls for stepping up their bats, hustle and spirits.

Please make sure to come to practice Wednesday and practice over the long weekend as we will not be practicing Friday or Monday.

Thanks to all the girls

Thanks to all the girls and parents who worked so hard this morning trying to get the field playable. It is a shame we.did.not get to play, but I am proud of the hard work and good sportsmanship displayed. Mark your calendars for Sunday June 6th at 3pm for the make up game at Gaddis Park...maybe we can make that our party and have potluck after and hand out awards....

What a night!

Wow! What a night! A win by the skin of our teeth against the "best team" in our division. Aside from the snide comments by the other team's parents on the way out, a great night!

Please make sure our girls recognize that I could have kept playing, but it was my call and I took it. I own that. We deserved the win so I grabbed it. Should we have kept playing....maybe. Would the other team have kept playing in our position...no.

They earned it and I am proud of my muddy little girls!

What a night!

What a night! I am so glad we were victorious tonight of all nights. Sportsmanship won out. Our girls learned a valuable lesson.

The other team challenged us on the field and we had to earn everything we got. I am so proud of our team.

We will practice Wed. but Friday's practice is canceled. There is a carnival that night at the school. We play Sims Saturday AM at 8:30 (arrive time). Please have your daughter arrive on time and ready to work out.

Bummer

Well, our last two games we learned the "agony of defeat". Now our record stands at 2-2. The girls continue to work hard in practice, but I cannont express enough the need to practice between by throwing, catching, running, etc... This is what is going to distinguish our players from the rest.

Please work with your daughter to build her confidece fielding, throwing, and swinging. She has to know "she can do it". That is the only difference between us and the victors of the last two games.

See you friday at practice! Come prepared for indoor AND outdoor practice.

Game Rescheduled!

Our Game with Coke has been rescheduled! Yay, no forfeiture! We will play at 6:30pm this Saturday. Please arrive ready to play at 6:00pm. If you cannot make it, please let me know.

I need to know who from our team has been keeping the scorebook (both home and visitor). We need to make sure it is getting done. If you have been helping...Thanks! I am sorry that I do not know this information.

Another Victory!

Our girls did a great job last night! A tremendous victory against a formidable opponent.

We are practicing Wed and Fri rain or shine. Please come prepared for field or gym.

We will NOT be playing our game Saturday AM. We may get to play in the evening instead. Stay tuned!

Great Start!

What a great start! We won our first game 10 to 8. A come from behind triumph. I am so proud of the girls.

We definitely have things to work on, but it is coming along.

It is a bummer our 2nd game got rained out but I will work on rescheduling that game at a later game.
